Limited Warranty Coverage
Conergies warrants its Color Paint Protection Film and Clear/Matte PPF to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 5-7 years and 7-10 years, respectively, from the date of installation. This warranty covers the following specific issues:
Yellowing (for clear and matte PPF)
Fading (Color PPF)
Cracking
Bubbling
Delamination (separation of layers)
The warranty only applies to installations on OEM-painted (original) automotive surfaces.
Yellowing (Clear and Matte PPF): Any discoloration or visual change resulting in a ΔE (Delta E) value ≥ 2.
Fading (Color PPF): Any significant color deviation resulting in a ΔE (Delta E) value ≥ 6.5.
Note: ΔE (Delta E) is the standard measurement used to quantify visible differences in color or brightness over time. Measurements exceeding these thresholds are considered defects covered under this warranty. A certain degree of color change (color PPF) and yellowing (PPF) over time is normal and unavoidable due to the penetration of UVA and UVB rays through the film’s upper layers.
